Hope Services Welcomes 3 Talented New Board Members
As a large nonprofit organization, Hope Services is guided by its Board of Directors: a team of key community leaders each offering unique skillsets and experience to help lead Hope Services.
We are pleased to introduce three of our newest Board Members:
Candace Beyer is the Audit Managing Director at KPMG, where she has worked for over 15 years, working with large and small technology companies focusing on financial statement audit and internal controls. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (CPA) from Santa Clara University.
Candace lives in Willow Glen with her husband, Ryan, and dog, Tater Tot. In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world and cooking for family and friends.
Candace is excited to be joining Hope Services’ Board of Directors and looks forward to devoting her time to help further a cause she cares about. As a member of the Board, Candace will be a font of knowledge in regard to financial best practices.
Harry Nachnani is Head of Program Management, Ads Engineering at Google. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Mumbai, India and an MBA from the University of Maryland. He is a Transformational Tech/PMO Leader with 20+ years of experience in scaling high growth product, infrastructure & IT teams. Harry has been a board member of the African Library Project (ALP) since 2020. The nonprofit advances literacy in underserved African communities by partnering to create, improve, and sustain libraries. Harry is also Chair of the Measurement & Evaluation committee with the ALP since 2021.
Over the last two years, Harry and his son have organized book drives, collecting 1,200 books to fund a library in Ghana. In 2014, he participated in a 4-week GoogleGive program in Delhi to provide product consultation to a local non-profit. He visited Prayas humanitarian centers and provided career guidance, computer mentoring, and public speaking training to 40 teenagers. He also hosted a talent show for 50+ children to help improve their self-confidence. In his free time, Harry enjoys playing pickleball, watching Bollywood movies, traveling (he’s been to 30+ countries), and road-biking, a hobby he picked up during pandemic. Harry’s tech experience and history of service will be invaluable to Hope’s Board of Directors.
