More than 250 guests came together at the Monterey Bay Aquarium for the 2026 Coast Cares Gala, raising $350,000 to support Hope Services and our mission to create opportunities for people with disabilities.

Inspired by the natural beauty and interconnectedness of Monterey Bay, the evening celebrated our Ecosystem of Hope — the people, families, businesses, partners, and supporters who each play a role in building more inclusive communities where everyone has the opportunity to belong and thrive.

Olympic gold medalist and World Champion figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi joined us for an inspiring conversation about the people who helped create opportunities throughout her journey and the importance of doing the same for others. We also shared powerful stories from Hope Services that brought to life what is possible when people are surrounded by the right support and community.
