Update to staff, clients and family members

April 3, 2020

Dear Hope Clients, Caregivers, and Families,

As we continue to experience the impact of the Coronavirus on our community and services, I hope that you are all staying safe and healthy. As you may know, the Shelter-In-Place Order has been extended through May 3, 2020 which also extends the time that many of Hope Services programs and operations must remain closed.

We will continue to provide essential services through video supported sessions to our Homestart families, TeleHealth interactive sessions for our Behavioral Health clients, job coaching for clients working in essential community jobs, and community living services to clients living independently or in their own homes.

Our staff are also reaching out to our clients who are sheltering in place for regular wellness checks, and to see if there is anything that is needed. We are doing our best to provide additional assistance and supports where needed.

Hope is also working on the development of activities and expansion of training that clients will be able to participate in from their homes. Please stay tuned and keep in touch with your staff facilitators for more information to come on this venture.

Please continue to stay safe during this unusual time. As the situation evolves, we will continue keep you informed of any new Hope Services protocols.

With much appreciation,

Chip Huggins
