The concert was held Friday, June 16, at The Mountain Winery—the event’s largest venue to date—bringing together around 2,000 community members for an evening of music, philanthropy, and shared commitment to making a difference.
The sold-out event was hosted by Master of Ceremonies, Dennis McNeil, and showcased performances by the best in funk and soul music for 55 years, Tower of Power, along with two-time Grammy-nominated jazz saxophonist Mindi Abair. In addition, guests enjoyed pre-event entertainment by The New Hope Band, established in 2008 by a talent group of musicians at Hope Services.
Through ticket sales, donations, and sponsorships, the event raised over $870,000. The contributions during at the event’s “Fund-A-Need” will help strengthen critical services, with 100% of proceeds funding Hope’s Homestart program, providing early intervention for infants and toddlers, and their Counseling Center, providing specialized services for individuals with a co-occurring disability and mental health diagnosis.
Among other the programs funded are supported living services, community employment support for job-seeking adults, day programs, senior centers, and more.
Chip Huggins, President and CEO of Hope Services, expressed his gratitude for all involved. “We are beyond grateful for the incredible show of support from our community. This event would not have been possible without our committed attendees, sponsors, and dedicated volunteers.”
Over the past five years, In Concert With Hope has succeeded in raising over $3 million, a milestone that could only be achieved through the unwavering support of the local community. Special acknowledgment goes out to the event’s sponsors and partners, who have magnified Hope Services’ mission through their generous contributions.
“We look forward to the tangible impact of these contributions,” adds Huggins. “These funds will empower us to continue transforming lives, equipping our clients with the necessary resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive.”
