Children and Family Services Honors Educators and Speech-Language Pathologists

May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month, and Teacher Appreciation Week begins 5/5/25! Both are a time to recognize and celebrate the many benefits of speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and educators and to spotlight the impact that teachers and SLPs have on the lives of those they serve.

At Children and Family Services (CFS), so many of our staff take on an educator role as developmental specialists, supporting the global development of our clients through thoughtful interventions and caregiver education and scaffolding.

This month, we celebrate all the educators on our team as well as our standout SLPs, Elizabeth and Allison! Our SLPs coach families in facilitating their child’s speech and communication skills, from babbling and gestures to sentences and songs, and support our team through consultation and training.

During May and throughout the year, CFS is proud to celebrate our SLPs and educators and the expertise, knowledge, and thoughtfulness they bring to our team and the families that we work with.

Happy National Speech-Language-Hearing Month and Teacher Appreciation Week!
