  • Job Description:

    Perform a variety of professional, technical and analytical duties in the development and operation of Hope Services enterprise and end user computer systems and networks. This may include working in the areas of:

    • Computer systems support
    • User and systems requirements
    • Analysis, application development and maintenance
    • Network design and maintenance
    • Data/database analysis and administration.

  • Responsibilities:

    Perform a variety of professional, technical and analytical duties in the development and operation of Hope Services enterprise and end user computer systems and networks. This may include working in the areas of:

    • Computer systems support
    • User and systems requirements
    • Analysis, application development and maintenance
    • Network design and maintenance
    • Data/database analysis and administration.

  • Qualifications:

    1. AA degree in computer science, information systems or a closely related field.
    2. Certification in the major technologies currently used, or planned for use, within Hope Services.
    3. At least two years of technical system experience or an approved equivalent combination of experience and education.
    4. Valid CA Driver’s License with a clear driving record for the past three years.

  • Required Skills:

    1. Knowledge of current and planned future network environment protocols, products and technology.
    2. Demonstrated ability to apply current diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve end user computer problems; including those related to security, accessibility, and availability.
    3. Skilled in providing effective customer service throughout the Hope Services end user community.
    4. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and present to Hope Services users as needed on IT matters.
    5. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Considerable time spent sitting, using desktops and laptops and periods of intense concentration, using the telephone and conducting paperwork. Frequent time spent in meetings, handling internal and external customer issues. Occasional bending, crawling, and climbing with installations, repairs and trouble shooting. Exposure to environmental conditions, dust and pollen. There may be periods of time the employee will work in enclosed and narrow spaces with little or no natural light. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
