IN CONCERT WITH HOPE 2021 – A NIGHT OF MUSIC AND PHILANTHROPY

Sponsors, partners, and supporters virtually attended Hope Services’ 3rd annual “In Concert with Hope” benefit featuring five-time GRAMMY award winner Michael McDonald and two-time GRAMMY nominee jazz saxophonist Mindi Abair for a wonderful night of music and philanthropy.

Each performer shared a personal connection to Hope Services as well as exceptional music which provided therapy and a sense of community and family for those tuning in to the livestream, Saturday October 2, 2021.

Michael McDonald expressed “It was a pleasure to be part of this year’s Hope Services fundraising efforts. I salute them for aiding and providing services for the developmentally disabled and those who have mental health conditions.”

“When planning this year’s benefit concert there was still uncertainty regarding crowds, and we knew we couldn’t all be together safely in person, so we determined early on the best way to deliver In Concert with Hope was through livestream. A virtual event provides an opportunity for those that might not otherwise be able to join us in person. We sold over 800 tickets and had viewers and donors from all over the nation.” remarked Hope Services’ President and CEO Chip Huggins.

Mindi Abair, a long-time supporter of Hope, thanked her fans for their support and thanked Hope Services for the opportunity “The whole band and I had so much fun playing for you… what an epic night.”

The largest fundraiser of the year, this year’s In Concert with Hope raised $616,964*! Proceeds will support the mission of Hope: to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. Hope Services believes the world is a better place when people with disabilities are accepted and fully integrated into the community. Just one act of caring can change a person’s life.
