Companion to a Person with a Disability

Are you seeking fulfilling work that gives you the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others? Do you believe in the integration of persons with disabilities into all aspects of community living? Do you enjoy assisting others in the learning process? Then, read on.

HOPE Services, a nonprofit organization that has been providing a wide array of quality services for persons with developmental disabilities in the South Bay for over 50 years is hiring Companions to work with men and women in its Supported Living Department. You would need to have a California driver's license, automobile insurance, a clean DMV record, and a car. All employees at HOPE Services need to pass background tests. Professional or personal experience working with someone with a disability is great, but interest and a caring attitude are essential.

We would like to add your strong teaching and caring skills to our dynamic team! We offer a friendly, learning environment and recognize talent when opportunities for new and challenging positions arise.
