Legacy of HOPE
The Legacy of HOPE is an honorary society of donors who have made planned gifts through their estate plans and/or endowment gifts to HOPE Services and the Foundation for HOPE.
To Join the Legacy of HOPE
· Make a gift designating HOPE Services as a beneficiary in your estate plans
· Make a gifts to the HOPE Services’ Endowment Fund
o By growing our Endowment Fund, HOPE Services can minimize the shortfall in annual state reimbursements for our services, as well as offsetting natural fluctuations in annual fundraising, to ensure that we can meet the growing needs of our clients. Most importantly, the Endowment Fund will provide our clients and their families the security
Legacy of HOPE Member Benefits
· Invitations to special events and receptions throughout the year.
· Special correspondence from HOPE Services, including regular issues of The Legacy of HOPE Journal and insider updates on HOPE Services’ agency news.
· The opportunity to highlight your “Legacy” on the HOPE Services website.
· Annual recognition in our HOPE in Action newsletter and on our Donor Wall.
· Acknowledgment of the cumulative giving of a Legacy of HOPE donor when the estate gift matures. Recognition will occur during an annual HOPE Services fundraising event.
Legacy of HOPE Members may opt out of any of the benefits simply by notifying the gift planning department at HOPE Services.
Legacy of HOPE Professional Advice for Gift Planning
If you are interested in becoming a Legacy of HOPE donor, it is critical that you and your family obtain sound professional advice regarding your estate plans. We are pleased to work with your attorney or representative to help you make a gift to your program of choice at HOPE Services. If you do not have current counsel, we have a group of professional advisers who are familiar with HOPE Services’ estate and gift planning process and are experienced in the legal and financial aspects of this practice.
